Indian Oil Corp (IOC) said it was operating its refineries short of full capacity as diesel sales had not yet hit pre-pandemic levels.
The company, which said it was operating at 90% capacity, added it expected to increase refining to full capacity shortly as demand for fuel steadily increased.

Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water are about to begin maintenance work at Llandegfedd Reservoir, which plays an important role in supplying over 600,000 people.
It supplies Cardiff, Newport, parts of Monmouth and surrounding areas with a reliable supply of safe, clean drinking water every day.

Tsurumi Pumps are being used in a canoe slalom event at the Tokyo Olympic Games.
There are 15 submersible pumps being used to pump the water and create turbulence for the event.
A total of three of the pumps have 150kW motors and pump 4,000 litres per second!

Hydrogen fuel company Element 2 is planning to install up to 300 pumps in Aberdeenshire over the next decade.
The firm will invest up to £2 million (€2.3 million) in a two-acre site in Bridge of Don, Scotland, that will support up to six pumps capable of dispensing up to three tonnes of hydrogen fuel per day.
