The first pump was fully assembled at the new NETZSCH campus in Waldkraiburg and passed on to the shipping department.
The successful initiative from the planning and implementation to the ground-breaking ceremony took place in less than two years.
In addition to the customers, the employees at NETZSCH Pumps & Systems will also benefit from the new building and the consolidation of the plant in Waldkraiburg.
Focussing on the customers, the project included the new building, consolidation, and the reconsideration and optimisation of all existing processes to further expand the global market leadership.
"Today is a milestone in the history of NETZSCH Pumps & Systems. With the opening of the assembly on our new campus in Waldkraiburg, we are getting closer to our goal of operating the most efficient positive displacement pump factory in the world,” said managing director Jens Heidkötter.
The NETZSCH Campus is the result of the consolidation of three locations in Waldkraiburg. "The merger of the three locations in Waldkraiburg into one giant, modern plant is associated with a customer- and product-oriented reorganisation and is thus a lighthouse project in the global pump industry. NETZSCH is setting new standards regarding customer service, innovation, delivery performance, product quality, and contemporary employee orientation,” added managing director Felix Kleinert.
Almost exactly 60 years after the founding of the former Netzsch-Mohnopumpen, the delivery of the first pump from the NETZSCH Campus marks the beginning of a whole new era for the global specialist in complex fluid management.
