PSB Industries has announced the immediate availability of a factory acceptance tested Gas Chilling, Deoxygenation & Dehydration Skid engineered to enhance fluid handling efficiency in landfill gas (LFG), renewable natural gas (RNG) and natural gas applications.
The pre assembled system provides a turnkey alternative to new build projects, offering full piping, wiring, insulation and automation to streamline installation and commissioning.
Designed for flow rates of 600–1,200 SCFM, the three stage skid delivers precise thermal, catalytic and adsorption based treatment to ensure stable fluid conditioning across varying inlet conditions.
The chilling and dehydration section incorporates a gas gas shell and tube economiser, chilled water trim cooler, water knockout pot with demister, and automated condensate drains, ensuring controlled phase separation and reliable condensate management — key requirements in high load fluid handling environments.
To manage oxygen laden gas streams, the unit integrates a guard bed and fixed bed of precious metal catalyst, supported by preheat duties via an economiser and 90 kW electric trim heater. An air cooled exchanger, separator, dust filter and startup recycle line complete the deoxygenation stage, maintaining outlet oxygen levels below 0.1% by volume.
Final moisture removal is achieved through a twin tower TSA desiccant dryer equipped with coalescing and particulate filtration, plus a closed regeneration loop driven by a VFD blower and 35 kW heater. This ensures outlet moisture below 7 lb/MMSCF, supporting downstream process stability and protecting sensitive equipment.
The skid features fully automatic PLC control with HMI screens, interlocks, alarms and DCS/SCADA connectivity.
On board oxygen and moisture analysers provide continuous verification, while Class I, Division 2 compliance and NEMA 4 enclosures support unattended outdoor operation. The 49,125 lb unit is designed for 200 PSIG and operates at 130–170 PSIG in the deoxygenation/dryer section.
