Elaflex rolls out new version of dry hose delivery nozzles
The new product can be used for open media transfer; when distributing fluids, large quantities are commonly purchased and then filled in small quantities, such as drums and intermediate bulk containers, or IBCs.
Elaflex’s new ball valve construction is made of stainless steel and features PTFE seals. It is suitable for universal applications in the chemical and petroleum industries.
A full bore of DN 50 enables flowrates of around 50-900 litres per minute, at a maximum working pressure of 10 bar. In addition to the standard type ZL nozzle, with 2-inch or 3-inch BSP thread, other stainless steel hose connections in DN 50 and DN 80 are available.
These include: with TW male adapters VK; with camlock adapters AVKI; and with dry disconnect couplings DDC-V. For improved handling capability, it is also possible to use a swivel of stainless steel (type DG) between the nozzle and hose assembly.
Elaflex specialises in safe connections for the handling of hazardous goods and sensitive fluids. The company’s product range includes hoses, fittings, couplings and dry hose delivery nozzles, which are used by manufacturers of petrochemicals, chemicals and pharmaceuticals.
