Cortec partners with Weir Oil & Gas for valve repairs in Middle East
Weir Oil & Gas has signed a contract with Cortec USA to provide authorised repairs for Cortec’s chokes, valves, manifolds and API accessories product range.
Under the Authorised Repair Facility agreement, Cortec’s customers will send products to Weir’s facility in Dubai, UAE to capitalise on the latter’s original equipment manufacturer repair and recertification status.

Our alliance with Weir will leverage their strengths in repairing and manufacturing oilfield equipment and provide our customers with a strategic, seamless aftermarket support option in the Middle Eastern region.”
Through Weir Edge™ Services, customers can expect an engineered approach to repairs and support. Services offered include oilfield drilling equipment repair and certification, operation and maintenance services in oil and gas and power plant, robust asset management programmes, engineered mechanical and rotating equipment repairs and upgrades, rapid prototyping of spare part, and field engineering services from Weir’s plant in Dubai.
