AxFlow buys Italian company to improve regional service

The acquisition of Cinti, an installation, service and repair provider in Italy, includes all tools and facilities needed to provide ‘a complete service offer’, AxFlow says.

Cinti owns 50% of the Italian solutions, maintenance and repair company Elettromeccanica Alto Adige and has a secondary location in Bolzano, which according to AxFlow is ‘strategically placed’ to serve customers in the Alpine region,.

As a servicer of water pumps for civil and industrial applications, Cinti has certifications and authorisations for public works in Italy.

“By bringing Cinti to AxFlow Group we will strengthen our service offering in Italy and in Europe. It is in line with our long term aim to have the best customer service on the market,” says Ole Weiner, CEO of AxFlow Group.

Cinti’s managing director Marco Cinti said in a press release: “We are looking forward to increased visibility and sales activity generated by AxFlow Italy’s sales staff, he says. “Cinti will have a wider portfolio now, including PD pumps and agitators, and we will be able to expand our service offer to other industries.”

This is only the latest regional acquisition for AxFlow in 2018. It added the French company RDC Productions in early February, and German company Pumpen Karrer in Germany in mid-January.

AxFlow is part of Axel Johnson International, a company that specialises in acquiring companies in niche markets, optimising them and developing their technology.
