Bonomi’s investment in actuation facility begins to pay dividends

The investment made by Bonomi UK in a new storage and actuation facility 18 months ago is beginning to pay dividends, with the company witnessing a significant increase in sales of actuated valves.

Bonomi’s decision to expand to a new purpose-designed 360 square metre facility was made in response to increased demand for its actuated valve service. This also promoted a need for extra warehousing capacity, allowing the company to maintain its quick delivery service.

The additional capacity from the expansion, together with space vacated at the Fluid Power Centre – where most of Bonomi’s stock was previously held – is enabling the company to maintain a 30% higher stock holding as part of its Brexit preparations.

Bonomi is also able to stock a wider range of products in the UK with the extra capacity, including oil and gas valves from its Valpres division, as well as products from other suppliers.

The company’s Fluid Power Centre is located in Nuneaton, Warwickshire in the UK.
