Alfa Lavel continues recent success with North Sea oil platform contract

Engineering solutions firm Alfa Lavel has won its third major contract within a month, it has been announced, continuing a run of high activity for the company.

A provider of heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling systems, the company says it has received an order to supply equipment to an offshore oil platform in the North Sea.

Equipment supplied by Alfa Laval will be part of the important auxiliary system on the platform.

The order has a value of approximately SEK 50 million (€5.5 million) and delivery is scheduled for 2014.

The announcement follows two more large orders for the company's products over the last few weeks, one for a Brazilian brewery and another for a crude oil production facility in Canada.
