Xylem secures long-term pump supply framework agreement with Scottish Water

Global water technology company Xylem has been awarded a new five-year framework agreement with Scottish Water, the body responsible for water and sewerage services across Scotland.

Under the agreement, Xylem will supply and install submersible and diesel pumps for all Scottish Water rental applications across the region.

Xylem will provide its state-of-the-art Flygt electric submersible pumps and Godwin diesel pumps, combined with extensive application expertise, to support dewatering efforts as part of capital projects and on-going upgrades of existing pump stations.

Xylem will draw on its team of fully accredited dewatering experts based in Stirling and Inverness in Scotland to fulfill this framework with 24/7 dewatering services.

According to Chris Stewart, Scotland area manager at Xylem, said the agreement will complement the company’s current frameworks to provide clean water and wastewater pumps and telemetry equipment, as well as supporting its Alliance partnership with RWGM to deliver pump repair and installation services for Scottish Water.

Under the framework agreement, Xylem will deliver its Flygt electric submersible pumps ranging from 1-750kW and Godwin CD, NC, and HL diesel pumps.
