Wanner Engineering introduces new seal-less pumps

Minnesota, US-headquartered Wanner Engineering has introduced its new Hydra-Cell D66 Series seal-less positive displacement pumps.

The new pumps, which can be used in a range of processing, municipal and commercial applications, offer a maximum flow capacity of 65.7 gallons per minute and pressure ratings up to 700 psi (for models featuring metal pump heads) or 250 psi (for models with non-metallic pump heads).

According to the company, the seal-less design of the pumps removes mechanical seals, cups or packing that could leak, wear or need replacing.

Spring-loaded, horizontal disk check valves and the seal-less design enable the pumps to handle viscous fluids and abrasive particulates measuring up to 800 microns in size.

The D66 also features the company’s patented Kel-Cell® technology, which means that in the event of a closed or blocked inlet condition, the pump will run dry indefinitely without risk of damage.

The new Hydra-Cell D66 is available with NPT or BSPT as well as SAE flanged NPT or BSPT ports in a wide choice of pump head, valve, diaphragm and O-ring materials.

A range of options and accessories, including pressure regulating valves, motors and controllers, are also available to provide a complete pumping system.
