Kurt Hydraulics releases new hose and couplings for low pressure applications

US company Kurt Hydraulics has introduced its new push-on hose and push-loc hose couplings for low pressure applications.

The push-on design allows for an easy and tight fit with no need for special crimping tools.

Kurt's oil resistant push-on hose contains a specially-designed spiral polyester material inside to lock onto the fitting of the coupling, allowing for strong retention under pressure. Designed for flexiblity for a range of low pressure installations, the hose operates in temperature ranges from -29°C to +82°C.

The hose tube material is nitrile, RMA Class A and the hose cover is nitrile PVC, RMA Class A. It is available in a range of sizes from 0.25" (inner diameter) and 0.5" (outer diameter) to 0.5" (inner diameter) and 0.75" (outer diameter) in reels of 250 and 700ft lengths. Colour varies by diameter size.

The precision-machined, corrosion-resistant brass push-loc couplings are designed to integrate with Kurt Hydraulic hose without the requirement of specialist tools and are available in 22 different types and sizes. These include 0.25" 3/8", 0.5" 0.75" male pipe rigid sizes, 3/8" and 0.5" female pipe rigid sizes, 0.25", 3/8" 5/8" and 0.75" female SAE swivel sizes, 0.25" and 0.5" male pipe swivel sizes and 3/8" and 0.75" female JIC swivel sizes.

Applications for the new products include paint spraying systems and other similar industrial equipment.
