Diageo to treat wort with Alfa

Alfa Laval, a heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling business, has won an order to supply equipment to drinks manufacturer Diageo.

The order, booked in the Food Technology segment late September, has a value of approximately SEK 60 million (€6.9 million) and delivery is scheduled for 2014.

Alfa Laval's equipment will be installed in a complete process line for wort treatment at Diageo's Irish brewery, where, among other brands, the famous Guinness stout is produced.
