AQ Matic Valves & Controls has highlighted its F Series inline flowMeter, a fluid handling solution designed to improve flow measurement accuracy while reducing maintenance demands in water treatment and industrial process applications.
The US manufacturer says the ultrasonic flow meter has been developed to give operators greater visibility of water usage and process performance, while supporting efficiency and conservation initiatives across a range of commercial and industrial installations.
A key feature of the F Series is its ultrasonic sensing technology, which eliminates moving parts within the flow stream.
According to AQ Matic, this reduces mechanical wear, extends service life and improves reliability compared with traditional mechanical flow meters. The design also provides accurate measurement at low flow rates, helping operators maintain tighter process control and optimise water consumption.
Built with a stainless-steel body, the meter is engineered for challenging operating environments where durability and consistent performance are critical. Passivated, scale-resistant surfaces are intended to minimise build-up that can affect measurement accuracy over time, supporting long-term performance and reduced maintenance requirements.
The company has also focused on serviceability. The meter’s module can be maintained or updated without removing the meter body from the pipework, helping to reduce downtime and simplify maintenance procedures. Additional features, including threaded inlet connections and provision for a sample port, are designed to make installation and system integration easier.
For automation and monitoring applications, the F Series offers pulse output functionality compatible with a wide range of industry-standard controls and data logging systems. Users also benefit from a visible LED flow indicator, laser-engraved identification plate and integrated QR code for rapid access to technical information.
Available in sizes from 1in to 3in, the F Series is certified to NSF/ANSI 61 and NSF/ANSI 372 standards for drinking water applications. AQ Matic said the meter is aimed at OEMs, system integrators and facility operators seeking reliable, low-maintenance inline flow measurement as part of broader fluid handling and water management strategies.
