Weir Group integrates industrial valve manufacturing into St. Louis facility

Weir Group has announced the integration of its Delta Industrial valves manufacturing operation into the company’s facility in St. Louis, Missouri.

Prior to the integration, Weir’s St. Louis facility only manufactured Lewis pumps and valves, for the sulphuric acid industries.

According to a statement, the decision to relocate the Delta Industrial facility is aimed at helping to accelerate the growth of both brands, increase production and streamline processes.

To carry out the integration, Weir has recruited additional staff as well as expanding its manufacturing space in St. Louis by 5,000 square feet, and its warehouse space by 15,000 square feet.
