Tasi Group expands flow segment business with acquisition of Sierra Instruments

Tasi Group has announced the purchase of Sierra Instruments, a global specialist in flow measurement instrumentation and testing, in line with the company’s expansion of its flow segment business.

This second acquisition follows the purchase of Onicon in April, a company which designs and manufactures flowmeters and energy management systems.

Sierra Instruments operates two divisions: Flow, which is based in Monterey, California, and Auto, in Malvern, UK.

The Flow division manufactures mass flowmeters and flow controllers for gas, liquid or steam applications, while the Auto branch builds integrated test facilities and engine and vehicle test automation systems.
