Online valve retailer to build new innovation centre

Valves Online, a UK based valve retailer, is building a new innovation centre near Plymouth.

According to a statement from the Devon headquartered, family owned company, the new facility will be built to accommodate Valves Online’s rapid expansion.

Planning consent has been secured to build the new ‘innovation centre’ on land next to the company’s existing base. The new facility will apparently allow the company to carry more stock and expand its range of products.

Valves Online launched the ‘first’ commerce store for process valves and control solutions in 2003. The aim was to meet the needs looking to purchase valves on the internet.

Speaking about the new innovation centre, Valves Online’s managing director, Gary Hopkinson, said: “This has been over two years in planning, we are excited we can finally start building. Our new building will help us to bring better service to the South West and the UK whilst continuing to invest in the local area.”

Valves Online’s webstore sells manual, actuated, solenoid, process and control valves for industries and applications including steam plants, food processors, breweries, dairies, laundries, pneumatics, biogas and water treatment.
