NETZSCH invests €50 million in new plant centralisation

NETZSCH will build a new €50 million facility in Waldkraiburg, Germany.
A new production unit will be built in Geretsrieder Straße, integrating the assembly hall and offices from the current plant in Liebigstraße.
The company said this was part of its global operations strategy, where the Pumps and Systems Business Unit will bring its production and assembly operations even closer together.
NETZSCH will invest in the Waldkraiburg plant over the next three years, which will include new machinery as well as a new office landscape that will be set up on top of the halls.
All NETZSCH employees will be centralised in one plant.
As part of its global strategy a further approximately €50 million will be invested worldwide over the next few years.
These funds will be used for factory expansions in the US, Brazil, China and India. In addition to the assembly centre already operating successfully in Anting, near Shanghai, China, further centres will be developed in South Africa, Australia, Thailand, Russia, Mexico and Indonesia.
The company said the aim was to achieve even greater customer proximity around the world.
The NETZSCH management has extended its thanks to shareholders for approving the investment.
