In order for new drinks to taste good, a high standard of hygiene must be guaranteed during the production process, according to NETZSCH.
It said if fruit juices, milkshakes with or without fruit pieces and carbonated drinks, reliable pumps in hygienic design are necessary - and that "hygienic positive displacement pumps from NETZSCH are particularly gentle on the media".
This is because its hygienic positive displacement pumps convey media in the beverage industry gently, whereby each technology offers its own advantages, according to the company.
It proffered the examples of the PERIPRO® peristaltic pump - suitable as a dosing pump or even for media with up to 70 per cent solids content; the NEMO® progressing cavity pump, which delivers with low pulsation and is therefore particularly gentle to sensitive media; the TORNADO® rotary lobe pump T.Sano®, which convinces with its oil-free belt drive in the hygiene industry and the NOTOS® screw pump, which can be used as a delivery pump and at the same time as a cleaning pump since it can build up particularly high pressures.
NETZSCH will be showing its product range in Hall B3 at Booth 338 at this year's Drinktec, which will be held in Munich, Germany from 12-16 September 2022.
