Metinvest Group now able to supply pipes to Iraq

Metinvest Group, a Ukraine-based holding company of mining and steel assets, has been given permission to supply large diameter pipes made from internally-produced pipe making plate for oil and gas pipelines in Iraq.

The company has been added to the Oil Ministry of Iraq's list of certified suppliers of large diameter pipes manufactured from internally produced pipe making plate, meaning it can participate in state projects to construct oil and gas pipelines as well as supply the pipes.

Until recently, Iraq only used pipes that were made of pipe making plate from western Europe, Japan and the US.
