LEWA further improves performance of LEWA ecoflow® range
The upgrade allows users to boost performance without resizing equipment or increasing system costs.
For example, at a flow rate of 2,200 l/h, the maximum discharge pressure rises from 622 bar to 746 bar. Alternatively, at 75 bar, flow capacity increases from 18,000 l/h to 21,600 l/h.
Nicoline Walther, product manager for the LEWA ecoflow product range, said: “Optimising productivity in processing applications is a constant challenge. The boxer pump design is already very efficient, as one drive unit moves two pump heads.
“With the increase in performance, the LDHB provides twice as much hydraulic power compared to a single pump.”
The upgrade reflects LEWA’s ongoing development of its ecoflow range and follows the 15% performance increase to the smaller LDG pump last year.
The LDHB now extends these gains to higher-capacity applications with a 20% increase in hydraulic power from 38 kW to 46 kW.
Walther concluded: “The upgraded LDH Boxer pump is a further step in expanding the performance envelope of our ecoflow range, but achieving excellence is about more than great technology.
“We support our customers from planning and commissioning to maintenance, repair and upgrading to ensure that our metering and process pumps consistently meet the application’s requirements and deliver the desired outcomes as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.”
