IWJS, one of the UK’s leading providers of services to wastewater networks, has been re-awarded the framework contract to continue delivering essential services to Anglian Water to 2025.
There is also an option to extend it for a further two years.
IWJS, a part of M Group Services, an essential infrastructure services provider in the water, energy, transport and telecommunications sectors, will be providing jetting, wet well cleaning and sewer surveys across the Anglian Water region from depots in Wellingborough, Lincoln, Dereham, Woolpit, Colchester, Dartford and Bishops Stortford.
This contract further cements the long-standing partnership between IWJS and Anglian Water. The businesses have worked together for more than 20 years.
A team of around 125 operators and managers will be responsible for delivering essential services that will help maintain the performance of the wastewater network in the region and supports Anglian Water’s commitment to protecting the environment and providing long-term, value for money services to its customers.
David Eade, IWJS director, said: “We are delighted to have been re-awarded this contract by Anglian Water. Our long-standing partnership with the business means we are well placed to understand their requirements and consistently fulfil our commitment to deliver what we promise.
“Anglian Water is committed to ensuring it provides a resilient wastewater network across the region. Our role is to ensure the network remains in good working order and can rise to the challenge of our changing climate, more extreme weather and the wastewater needs of a growing population.”
