Implico to showcase the hardware and software of tomorrow at Tank Storage Asia
Implico Group has announced that its booth at this year’s Tank Storage Asia trade show is being designed around the slogan “from entrance to exit”. The consulting company will use its stand to demonstrate the ways modern software and cloud solutions can optimise their tank terminal processes.
Like last year, Implico will team up with its hardware partner Timm Elektronik, the two companies combining to demonstrate the hardware and software solutions for ‘tomorrow’s tank terminals’.
A strong focus of Implico’s stand will be the industrial applications of the cloud. The company’s downstream experts will explain to visitors the wide range of application areas for iGOS cloud services, ranging from uniform data communication and collaboration with suppliers and logistics service providers, through to automated logistics processes, and managed services in which specialists from Implico take responsibility for specific routine tasks.
The newest version of Implico’s OpenTAS terminal management and automation system will be presented at Tank Storage Asia, while visitors will also have the chance to learn about the latest measuring and control technology for use in potentially explosive environments.
"The solutions from Implico and Timm Elektronik complement each other perfectly and are already being used together in many tank terminals," says Dr. Thomas Overbeck, CEO and owner of Timm Elektronik. "We expect this to reflect in a corresponding demand for these technologies in Asian markets as well."
Tank Storage Asia takes place in Singapore from 27 to 28 September.
