Hydra-Stop unveils new size of pipe insertion valve
Insertion valves and line stop fittings provider Hydra-Stop launched the Insta-Valve 20-24 insertion valve after a prelaunch at AWWA’s ACE19 in June.
The new insertional valve is available for pipes measuring 20-24 inches, and was designed in response to feedback from industry professionals.
According to the company, the engineered valve cartridge has a mechanically actuated, resilient wedge that expands to provide a tight seal with minimal torque.
Constructed from ductile iron with a fusion-bonded epoxy coating, the product has a long lifespan for continuous use.
