Manufactured Ecosystems, led by Dr Jacobs from the University of Guelph in Canada and collaborating with international academic partners, has launched a new initiative focused on compiling research on biomimetic technologies.
These technologies, inspired by natural ecosystem services, aim to mitigate the impacts of climate change.
Examples include enhancing water filtration systems to combat water scarcity and developing robotic bees to assist in plant pollination.
By making this research accessible, Manufactured Ecosystems aims to support future climate adaptation efforts.
