Compact and lightweight UV lamp for fluorescent leak detection duties

Tracer Products, a New York-based subsidiary of Spectronics Corp., has added the Tracerline VioMAX Plus model to its line of leak detection lamps.

VioMAX Plus is a telescopic, True UV (violet light) leak detection lamp that is well-suited for finding fluid and A/C leaks in tight, cramped areas inaccessible to larger lamps.

Its super-bright 400nm violet light LED offers optimal fluorescent response and contrast, and works with both universal/ester and PAG A/C dyes, as well as most fluid dyes.

The VioMAX Plus is lightweight and portable, weighing only 45g, and it measures just 23cm in the closed position and extends to a full 74cm.

With the aid of the large pivoting mirror, measuring 1” in diameter, the technician can view even the most elusive leaks from any angle, even those that are out of sight and out of reach.

The lamp automatically turns on when the shaft is extended and off when the shaft is compressed.

The VioMAX Plus is powered by three 1.5 volt (AG3/LR41) batteries and comes in full colour clamshell packaging.
