Blacoh Fluid Control’s Hybrid Valve receives US patent
Pulsation dampening and fluid control equipment provider Blacoh Fluid Control has received US Patent 10,353,409 for its Hybrid Valve™.
According to the company, the hybrid valve is the world’s first combination pulsation dampener and back pressure valve. It combines the steady flow control of a pulsation dampener with the regulation offered by a back pressure valve in a single item of equipment.
Within a metering pump system, the use of a back pressure valve alone is not sufficient to improve fluid control. When added in series with a pulsation dampener, the flow significantly improves, however according to Blacoh tests, performance is unable to match that of the Hybrid Valve for the steadiest flow.
