BBA Pumps designs pump package for mining and offshore markets
Portable pump equipment manufacturer BBA Pumps has introduced a bolt-on pump package for offshore applications.
The BA-C250H45 bolt-on pump package is designed to cater to the mining and offshore markets, where there is no need for a complete skid and/or canopy.
These units feature the customer's BA-C pump of choice coupled to a diesel engine, including the control panel, and mounted on a high quality, galvanised sub-frame. The frames can be customised with lifting bales, protection bars and other options should these be required.
The auto prime pumps have a capacity of 100 m3/hour to a maximum of 1500 m3/hour (6600 US GPM) and a head up to a maximum of 250mwc (25 bar).
Units can be bolted onto any object or structure. End-users only need to connect a fuel tank and the unit is operational. Using high efficiency pumps and state-of-the-art diesel engines, the units offer maximum performance at minimal cost.
Optional pump wet-ends in Duplex stainless steel:
Duplex stainless steel design enables the pumps to handle advanced dewatering jobs in environments where pH levels are unpredictable and varying – from very acidic to very alkaline. Furthermore Duplex also allows the pumps to be used in more abrasive applications as it will not 'pit' like regular stainless steel. Duplex Stainless Steel is more resistant to corrosion and stronger.
