AQ Matic targets industrial water inefficiency with launch of ultra durable F Series ultrasonic inline flow meter
As rising operating costs and tightening sustainability demands put pressure on facilities to account for every litre, AQ Matic is positioning the F Series as a no nonsense, low maintenance alternative to ageing mechanical meters that struggle in today’s harsher environments.
The F Series uses ultrasonic sensing with no moving parts, eliminating the wear, clogging and drift that routinely undermine mechanical meters.
The result is long term accuracy, superior low flow pickup and stable performance across a wide operating range — giving operators the data confidence needed for process optimisation, cost control and regulatory reporting.
Built from robust stainless steel with passivated, scale resistant surfaces, the meter is designed for the realities of industrial water systems: abrasive media, variable water quality, and continuous operation. Its construction protects long term measurement integrity while delivering the durability required for demanding installations.
Serviceability has been engineered into the design. The meter module can be replaced without removing the body from the line, slashing downtime and avoiding disruption to pipework. A threaded inlet adapter allows direct connection to treatment control valves, reducing fittings and leak points, while a built in boss enables easy addition of a 1/4 inch sample port for testing or instrumentation.
Integration is deliberately straightforward. The F Series operates in a familiar pulse output mode with a defined K Factor, allowing seamless connection to standard controllers, data loggers and automation systems without custom engineering. A bright LED flow indicator, real time signalling, laser engraved identification plate and QR code access to product data all support faster field diagnostics and easier day to day operation.
Available in 1 inch to 3 inch sizes with NPT or BSP threads, the F Series fits global piping standards and includes an 8 foot cable extension for flexible installation. Certification to NSF/ANSI 61 and 372 ensures compliance with recognised drinking water and low lead requirements.
By combining ultrasonic accuracy, stainless steel durability and service friendly architecture, AQ Matic is pitching the F Series as a long term solution for operators seeking to tighten water usage visibility, reduce maintenance burdens and support sustainability targets. The company will expand its portfolio further with the launch of the Category2 meter later this year.
