Australia’s GT Water Technologies latest to join AxFlow Group

Brown Brothers Engineers/Kelair Pumps has announced the acquisition of GT Water Technologies.

Centrifugal pumps producer Brown Brothers/Kelair Pumps was itself acquired by European fluid handling solutions firm AxFlow in Autumn 2018. The company operates throughout 15 locations across Australia and New Zealand.

GT Water is, according to a statement, a family owned company specialising in services around water storage tanks to the building and fire safety markets in the Melbourne, Australia area.

“Although a young company, GT Water has quickly established its service business, demonstrating strong, profitable growth and has a proven record of taking market share,” says Ole Weiner, CEO, AxFlow Holding.

“This is in line with AxFlow’s strategy of adding value through product selection, system design and construction, as well as local service.”

Among GT Water’s product offerings are pump systems and assemblies, along with storage tanks and systems for fire suppression, hydraulic systems for storm water, sewage and domestic hot water, as well as pump service and installation for industry.

“This is an opportunity for Kelair to expand its footprint in the building and fire markets,” said John Inkster, managing director of Brown Brothers Engineers/Kelair Pumps.

“It also presents an opportunity for Kelair to bring fire water storage tanks into other regions.”
