Alfa Laval to supply food processing equipment to China

Alfa Laval, a Swedish heat transfer, centrifugal separation, and fluid handling solutions provider, has won an order to supply two process lines for edible oil refining in China.

The order is booked in the food technology and life science segment of the company and has a value of approximately SEK75 million (€7.9 million), with delivery scheduled for 2016.

The order comprises engineering as well as various pieces of equipment, such as heat exchangers and separators, to be used in different steps of the soyabean and corn oil refinery process.
