Agidens appoints new chief executive

Agidens, the Belgian system integration company specialising in process optimisation, has appointed Hedwig Maes as its new CEO.
Maes will take over responsibilities from Geert Stienen, who indicated a few of months ago that he wanted to pursue a new challenge outside the company.
Maes studied industrial electronics at IHAM and business economics at UFSIA University in Antwerp . He is a senior executive with over 30 years of global experience in industrial automation and industrial systems, including 14 years with General Electric as senior vice president enterprise solutions and 10 years with Rockwell Automation where his last position was vice president global systems and solutions.

John-Eric Bertrand, chairman of the board of directors said: “We are convinced that Hedwig, supported by our board, strong management team and the commitment and professionalism of all Agidens colleagues, will ensure a successful continuation of the Agidens mission and the close partnership we have with our customers and business partners.”
