Aegion nets $5.7 million wastewater pipeline rehab contract

Aegion Corporation’s subsidiary Insituform Technologies has been awarded a wastewater pipeline rehabilitation contract worth $5.7 million (€5.09 million).

The contract was awarded by the Montgomery Water Works and Sanitary Sewer Board (WWSSB) in Montgomery, Alabama. Insituform has worked with WWSSB for over 25 years on a number of major projects, and has been involved in the rehabilitation of almost 110 miles of 6-inch to 54-inch diameter wastewater pipelines.

Under this new contract, the Aegion subsidiary will rehabilitation more than 22,000 feet of 18-inch to 30-inch wastewater pipelines in both residential and commercial areas in Montgomery using Insituform cured-in-place pipe.

Work is scheduled to begin in August 2019, with project completion due for October 2020.
