ACHEMA event postponed to 2022 due to pandemic travel concerns

ACHEMA, a world forum for the process industries, has been pushed back to 2022.
The global networking event that was due to be held in Frankfurt next year has now been rescheduled for 4-8 April in 2022.
The event that attracts 150,000 people from all around the world has had to be put back due to uncertainties over the COVID-19 pandemic and fears about travel restrictions.
Organisers DECHEMA said all remaining bookings will be valid for the newly rearranged event.
"Our claim is to be the global meeting place for the process industry and to make it possible to experience it with all senses,” said Dr Thomas Scheuring, CEO of DECHEMA. "As things stand at present, we will not be able to live up to this claim in June 2021 because we have to assume that travel will not yet be unrestricted at that time.”
Companies and attendees who have problems with the new date are urged to get in touch with the organisers before December 18.
However, in addition to this rearranged show an online event, ACHEMA Pulse, will take place on 15-16 June next year where innovative technologies alongside discussions and debates will be showcased and highlighted.
