Wiese Europe expands with Singapore office

Wiese Europe specialises in loading arms for the (petro-)chemical and food industry to transfer liquids and gasses to trucks, trains and ships and today supplies its products and services worldwide.

Sixty per cent of Wiese Europe's annual turnover is realised through export. The company already works with agents and distributors in France, China, India, Indonesia, Spain, Singapore the UAE and Turkey, and has now established Weise Asia, a subsidiary office in Singapore.

Chris Jacobs, GM of Weise Europe, says: 'We want to provide an even better service on the local markets and increase our local presence. Smaller components and installation will be produced in Singapore. Engineering and production of the critical parts will remain based in Belgium.'

Wiese says it is growing at a rate of 15% per year and is 'always on the lookout for new employees'.
