West Control Solutions improves inline blending offering

UK-headquartered West Control Solutions has engineered an application program for its latest PMA KS 98-1 industrial process controller.

The PMA KS 98-1 controller, used for batch mixing control of liquid, gas and solid ingredients, offers a range of features, including control of ratio, sums, selectable master setpoint and monitoring of valve operation.

Inline blending is used in a number of industries, including chemical, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage, where accurate and consistent blending of multiple components is a crucial factor in product quality.

The application program inside the PMA KS 98-1 uses nine control loops, for up to five separate blending lines.
