Sulphuric acid pumps from Techniflo now available to chemicals industry

A new range of pumps from Techniflo designed to withstand the challenges of pumping sulphuric acid in various applications has been introduced by Australia-based distributor Global Pumps.

The TB-mag series pumps are designed to aid the pumping of sulphuric acid up to 120⁰C and 98% concentrated.

Sulphuric acid is used in applications from processing ore and refining oil to manufacturing fertiliser, processing wastewater and synthesising chemicals, amongst others.

Techniflo's mag-driven pumps are intended to eliminate concerns about leaky seals as efficiently as mechanically-sealed pumps.

Direct bolt-in replacement capabilities allow easy replacement of an existing sealed pump without having to change the motor size, wire gauge, or breakers.
