Schwer’s twin ferrule fittings receive DNV-GL certification

German equipment manufacturer Schwer Fitting has received DNV-GL (Det Norske Veritas – Germanischer Lloyd) certification for its u2-Lok twin ferrule fittings.

The extensive type examination tests included combined pressure pulse and vibration test, repeated assembly, leak testing, vacuum testing, pull test, and a burst resistance trial.

Both the quality and the current pressure tests are carried out exclusively in Schwer‘s headquarters in Denkingen.

The fittings‘ design largely allows vibrations and pressure pulses to be absorbed, without any fear of leakage.

This design, technical manufacturing, and quality properties allow the twin ferrule fittings to be used in a wide range of applications in industrial, laboratory, and measurement system sectors.

The use of high quality stainless steel guarantees a long service free life also in the chemical industry.

U2-Lok twin ferrule fittings, from 316 stainless steel as standard, are supplied assembled and ready to use, and on request they can also be supplied in Hastelloy, titanium, and other alloy materials.
