Pump provider WMFTG extends reach into Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria
Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group (WMFTG), a provider of pumps and associated fluid path technologies, has expanded its global reach with new direct sales and technical support offerings in Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria.
The launch of the company’s subsidiary Watson-Marlow Kft. was effective 1 January 2020. It is a key part of WMFTG’s global expansion strategy, which is centred on customer support and local solutions.
The new Watson-Marlow Kft. office, which will be located in Budapest, Hungary, will initially be staffed by a team led by regional sales manager Vadim Sidorenko.
“This is a very exciting new chapter in our journey as a company,” Sidorenko said on the opening of the new direct sales office.”Our products and technologies have long been available in this part of Eastern Europe.
“However, we feel that a direct sales and technical presence will enable us to offer much more specialised and one-to-one support to customers in the region. As a team, we are all looking forward to the start of a new year and a raft of new opportunities for Watson-Marlow Kft.”
WMFTG has a global network of operations including 10 factories and 37 direct sales offices.
