Pump manufacturer secures significant order for work in China

The special centrifugal pump manufacturer Bungartz secured the second largest order in the company's history.
The contract for the production and supply of 24 MPCV dry running magnetic drive centrifugal pumps has now been signed for the construction of a new production line for titanium tetrachloride (TiC14) in China.
"In these difficult times for many companies, this order is also a positive signal for the economic development in the country,” managing director Frank Bungartz said.

The new plant has a planned output of 160,000 tons of TiC14. The medium, which is difficult to pump, forms dangerous hydrochloric acid vapours when it comes into contact with air humidity.
For about 10 years, BUNGARTZ has been using the magnetically coupled pumps type MPCV for this type of work.
