Pump Industry Awards recognises vital role played during height of pandemic
The Pump Industry Awards ceremony will finally take place later in September after the event was postponed due to the pandemic.
The 20th anniversary of the event will take place on 23r September as the nine category winners will be announced and honoured.
Throughout the pandemic, and especially through lockdown, the pump sector played a key role in ensuring utilities, manufacturing processes and essential services were maintained.
This acknowledgement will go hand in hand with the nine award categories, that collectively honour the full breadth of product and service offering across the pump industry.
Steve Schofield, CEO of the British Pump Manufacturers Association, said: “No-one could have foreseen the disruption caused by the pandemic, and the pump sector has not been immune to its impact, however, despite the many challenges, or maybe because of them, business and professional excellence still deserves to be acknowledged and celebrated.
“The Pump Industry Awards do just that, and so I would encourage all those involved in this important sector of ours to prepare and submit their entries for the fast-approaching 2022 awards programme.”
