Oliver Valves secures £10 million order for valves in Middle East
UK-based valve manufacturing company Oliver Valves has secured an order worth over £10 million (€11.9 million) for an international engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company based in the Middle East.
The order is for over 1,200 double block and bleed valves, which will be stationed offshore in the Arabian Gulf. The historic order for Oliver Valves is expected to last for one year, with deliveries sent to the Middle East until completion in February 2021.
“This award is the culmination of months of hard work from the sales, engineering, purchasing and finance teams,” commented Richard Bedford, sales director at Oliver Valves, who continued by thanking all those involved in securing the order for their commitment and hard work.
Colm Kane, managing director of the Oliver Family of Companies, added that the company motto, ‘it can be done’, “runs true within every department in the organisation”.
According to Kane, the order will support the company’s growth strategy as it heads for a “40% increase in business from last year’s financial figures”.
