OCV Control Valves rolls out new global strategy

Following its acquisition in April 2018 by MAT Holding Group, OCV Control Valves has implemented a new global strategy and organisational restructuring.

The manufacturer of hydraulically operated, diaphragm actuated, automatic control valves is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the US. Since April 2018 it has been operating under the MAT Holding Group umbrella.

“MAT Holding is constantly evolving,” said Pau Relat, CEO of MAT Holding Group. “We understand that our growth relies on the synergies that we create worldwide. The US market has always been a challenge for our group and, with OCV as part of our family, we are confident in our development and growth.”

MAT merged OCV Control Valves with Dorot Control Valves to create OCV Fluid Solutions, which positions the company as a leader in water control solutions. This strategic plan will ensure a stronger product line, new innovative technologies, improved engineering, customer service and technical support, while maintaining competitive pricing.

Additionally, OCV is now responsible for the control and sale of the Dorot Fire Protection product line under the OCV Fluid Solutions brand. In light of this, the brand has implemented an organisational change for the management of three separate business divisions: Global Fire Protection, Global Fuelling, and North American Water.

Blake Kelso has been named director, global fire protection, Shirley Nelson is director, global fuel division and Jarrod McCain is now serving as manager, North American water division.

"We are excited about these appropriate, organisational changes by division and feel it’s a necessary strategy to ensure that we strengthen our focus and target growth in each of the individual markets," concluded Robert Tipton, president and CEO of OCV Fluid Solutions.
