Metso to showcase control and ESD valves at Industrial Valve Summit

Flow equipment manufacturer Metso will offer a range of its valve and service solutions for a wide variety of process industries at the Industrial Valve Summit (IVS), which takes place this week in Bergamo, Italy.

The company will showcase a range of products including control valves, on/off valves and emergency shutdown (ESD) valves.

Metso experts will also be available to share recent insights into plant reliability and safety through well-planned valve optimisation solutions, best practice maintenance planning and digitalisation.

Ville Kähkönen, responsible for industry management in valves, will make a presentation on the lifecycle of the ESD valve. These valves are used across the world in refineries, petrochemical facilities and LNG plants.

The company’s flow control offering includes services covering maintenance planning and execution, as well as performance solutions. Metso also provides standard and severe service globe valves, which offer reliability for critical processes and are able to operate at extreme pressure and temperatures.
