Metso inks eight valve distributor agreements with European partners
Flow equipment provider Metso has signed new distributor agreements with eight European partners for its valve business, during the first six months of 2019.
The agreements include: Eck Boro in Switzerland; Gemza in Azerbajan; Geryon in Bulgaria; Mach in Germany; PCE in Portugal; PMS in Austria; Reflow in Slovakia; and Rombet in Romania.
The new European distributors serve a range of process industries including refineries, petrochemical, chemical, fertiliser, steel, bioenergy, food, power, pulp and paper, and wastewater.
A number of the partners also provide service support for Metso valves and valve controls.
“We are searching for partners who are recognised players in their markets, see the value of our products and are willing to make the investment to promote them,” said Kyle Rayhill, director of oil and gas valve business management at Metso. “They should also have proven closeness with their customers and the ability to carry the inventory.
“We are constantly developing our cooperation, customer service and ordering. For example, we have recently launched a modern Partner Portal for our distributors, and the user feedback has been very positive.”
