Maire announces new petrochem awards worth billions of dollars
Maire has announces that its subsidiaries Tecnimont, KT-Kinetics Technology and Nextchem and have been granted new awards for a total amount of approximately $3.5 billion (€3.3 billion) for engineering and procurement and construction activities related to petrochemical and hydrotreating projects, as well as high value engineering services for a waste to chemical project.
These projects- whose engineering activities have already started - have been granted by prominent international clients in South Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa and in Central Asia and will be carried out by MAIRE’s Integrated E&C Solutions and Sustainable Technology Solutions business units.
Alessandro Bernini, MAIRE chief executive officer, said: “We are very pleased for these new awards which will significantly diversify our geographical footprint and confirm our capabilities in executing large complex projects as well as our technological know-how to support clients in their decarbonisation path with innovative, sustainable solutions.”
