Leuze launches capacity proximity switches immune to electromagnetic influences
Leuze electronic has introduced contactless, wear-free capacity proximity switches which are resistant to electromagnetic influences, interference and contaminants such as dust. The switches are designed for the reliable detection of objects and fill levels.
The new capacitive proximity switches mark an expansion to the company’s portfolio of optoelectronic and inductive sensors. Leuze hopes the new addition to its range with allow customers to meet all of their detection requirements from a single source.
Leuze’s new switches incorporate semiconductor technology, which increases their life expectancy regardless of the detection and switching frequency.
The capacitive sensors are capable of working with solid, liquid or granular substances, and can detect objects independently of their material and shape, without contact or reaction.
Leuze’s new switches are available in cylindrical or cubic designs, with flush and non-flush mounting options to suit the widest range of applications. Their IP67 housing means they’re particularly well suited for detecting objects in harsh and dirty environments.
