Large pipe supply contract signed in Middle East

Saudi Arabia-based Arabian Pipes (AP) has scooped a $133 million (€96.7 million) three year contract to supply welded steel pipes to Petroleum Development of Oman.

The deal will see AP produce, coat and supply steel pipes designed for high pressure flow lines and critical applications. Production is expected to start in the first quarter of 2014 and the supply will be continuous until the end of 2016.

AP begun in 1995 and has become a supplier in medium range HFW pipes in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East in particular.
