ISCO expands presence in gas distribution market with M. T. Deason acquisition
US high-density polyethylene piping solutions provider ISCO has agreed to acquire Alabama-based M. T. Deason, expanding its presence in the American gas distribution market.
The agreement, which is subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to complete in January 2020. M.T. Deason has been providing products and services for the gas distribution market since 1982.
“I’ve known [CEO] Mike Deason for 25 years and always admired the customer-centric business and the exceptional team he has cultivated,” said ISCO CEO Jimmy Kirchdorfer. “He has been a pioneer in electrofusion and gas pipe fittings and the company has an excellent reputation for providing quality products. I’m proud that he chose to join forces with ISCO to continue on their successful path.”
Through the acquisition, ISCO will increase its service capacity in the gas distribution market. M.T. Deason will operate as a division of ISCO Industries, providing full-service offerings of pipe, fittings, fusion equipment and valves.
