IMI Sensors introduces two gas pressure sensors for extreme temperatures
IMI Sensors, a manufacturer of industrial vibration and pressure monitoring instrumentation, has released models 176A03 and 176A05 pressure sensors for extreme environments.
The 176A03 and 176A05 are very high/extreme temperature differential charge pressure sensors with a UHT-12 sensing element.
IMI has developed the sensors to be used in the combustion instability monitoring of power generation and aviation gas turbines.
The new UHT-12 crystal technology features an absence of pyroelectric noise spikes up to 649°C, and its sensitivity remains more consistent over a wide temperature change.
No depletion of oxygen at high temperatures occurs, eliminating the need for a vent or window in the housing.
