IDEX acquires Swedish seal manufacturer Roplan
IDEX Corporation has acquired Velcora Holding and its Roplan and Steridose businesses from FSN Capital Partners for SEK 1.28 billion (over €121 million).
Roplan manufactures custom mechanical and shaft seals for the food and beverage, marine, chemical, wastewater and water treatment end markets. Steridose develops hygienic mixers and valves for the biopharmaceutical industry.
Headquartered in Sweden, both companies have operations in China, the UK and the US, with combined revenues of approximately SEK 375 million (€35.5 million).
